For DIY Picnic Hire, no permit is arranged by Amorè. You can have picnics with up to 50 people without booking or fees. For more information about regulations, search "Book a social gathering or private function in a park" on the City of Gold Coast website. For Pop-Up Picnics in public parks, council permits and park bookings are required, and we take care of the application process where applicable.

We kindly ask all outdoor bookings to have a suitable indoor or covered backup option available. If severe weather is forecast, we will work with you to explore alternative locations, rescheduling options or booking credit. As weather conditions are beyond our control, refunds are not provided due to weather. In any case, we will work with you to make sure nobody misses a party.

Our experiences are designed for groups of 2 to 60 guests.

DIY Picnic Hire includes a 3-day hire period, giving you plenty of time to enjoy your picnic at your own pace before returning the items. Items are picked up from and returned to Bundall. Pop-Up Picnics are designed for a 4-hour experience from your selected start time. At the end of your booking, our team will return to pack everything down.

We offer complimentary travel within 20km of Bundall. Pop-Up Picnics are available up to 30km from Bundall, with a $20 travel fee for locations between 20km and 30km (charged once your booking is confirmed). For locations beyond 30km, we recommend our DIY Picnic Hire option.

Yes. Amorè & Co. is a Gold Coast council-approved picnic and catering business. We hold the required insurance and approvals to operate in public spaces where permitted. For public park bookings, we can manage the council permit application process on your behalf and provide any supporting documentation required.

Cancellations made more than 7 days before your event are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made between 3 and 7 days before your event are eligible for a 70% refund or a full booking credit to be used within 3 months. Cancellations made within 72 hours of your event are non-refundable. Picnic bookings may be rescheduled once within 3 months, subject to availability. Catering, grazing boxes and food items are non-refundable and non-transferable within 72 hours of your event, as ingredients and preparation may have already been arranged. In the event of severe weather, we may offer a reschedule, relocation or booking credit. Refunds are not provided due to weather conditions.

Yes. A refundable $100 security bond applies to all picnic bookings. Bond payment details will be provided once your booking is confirmed and must be paid at least 24 hours before your event. The bond will be refunded within 48 hours after the event, subject to all items being returned in good condition. We do our best to always refund it in less than a day.

No. Council fees are set by the City of Gold Coast and are separate from Amorè's picnic pricing. Any applicable council permit fees and travel charges will be confirmed after booking based on your selected location. Most public parks incur a standard council fee of $42. Premium locations incur a fee of $139.

For DIY Picnic Hire, all items must be returned clean and in reasonable condition. Normal wear is expected, however any damaged, heavily soiled or missing items may affect the return of your bond. For Pop-Up Picnics, we take care of all cleaning and pack down. We simply ask that all rubbish, food leftovers and personal belongings are removed from the table before the end of your booking. For both options, the refundable $100 security bond will be returned within 48 hours once all items have been inspected.

We recommend booking as early as possible to ensure availability. For Pop-Up Picnics in public parks, a minimum of 12 business days notice is required to allow time for council permit applications and park bookings. DIY Picnic Hire and private residence bookings may be available with shorter notice. Last-minute enquiries are always welcome, so simply contact us to check availability.
